Perfect for a day outing with the family, Historic Cold Spring Village is an open-air living history museum that explores more about the daily lives of villagers who lived in South Jersey during the “homespun age.” The museum rests on more than 30 acres, where visitors can explore 27 restored antique buildings, gardens, and the working farm. Take a walking tour of the village or visit the village after dark with a guide for one of the ghost tours.
Located on the village grounds is the on-site brewery, Cold Spring Brewery. Housed inside a restored 1804 three-bay English-style Cape May country barn, the brewery pours a variety of beers, Thursdays through Sundays.
The museum is also host to several events throughout the year including their Quilt and Fiber Show, Independence Day Weekend, and the Midsummer Heritage Music Fest. Historic Cold Spring Village is located in Cape May, five and a half miles from the Ala Kai Motel. It is open seasonally, June through September.
