Do you offer discounts or packages?

What is your minimum stay requirement?
During peak season we require a 5-night stay and during shoulder season, we require a 3-night stay. However, our availability often allows us to fill smaller openings as they become available so please always call or check the calendar of availability. Please call us at 609.522.2159.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes, gift certificates are available. Please purchase by clicking here.
Is the property seasonal?
Yes, Ala Kai is usually open from early May to Ealey October each year.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are refundable if the reservation is canceled more than 30 days in advance in writing, less a 50% processing fee. Any cancellation made within 30 days of arrival will not receive any refund.
Do you allow smoking?
All rooms are non-smoking.
Are there refunds for late arrivals or early departures?
There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.
Do you have to be a certain age to check in?
Guests must be 25 years or older to check in, or the deposit will not be refunded
Are reservations transferrable?
No, reservations are not transferrable.
Can I pick the unit I stay in?
Room type is guaranteed, but room number is assigned at check-in.
What forms of payment do you accept?
After paying the deposit, balance is due upon arrival and can be paid by credit card, debit card, cash, traveler’s check, or money order. Personal checks are not accepted for the balance. All credit card transactions are subject to a 3% service charge.

Do all rooms have balconies?
Yes, all rooms have common balconies.
Do rooms have a bathtub or walk-in shower?
Yes, all units have shower/tub combos.
How far are you from the beach?
The motel is located directly adjacent from Wildwood Crest Beach, just a short walk away.
What accommodation types do you have?
One-Room Motel Queen, Regular Motel Room, One-Room Efficiency, Two-Room Efficiency, Standard Efficiency, Family Efficiency Suite, Ocean View Family Suite, and Large Family Apartment.
Do rooms have kitchens?
The efficiency suites include full kitchens. Standard motel rooms include a mini fridge and microwave only.
How do I get there?
From the North:
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 4A. Take Wildwood Blvd. (State Rte. 47) over the George Redding Bridge and into Wildwood. Turn right at Atlantic Avenue. Continue South on Atlantic Avenue. The Ala Kai is located on 8301 Atlantic Ave.
From the Cape May Lewes Ferry and Points South:
Leaving the Ferry, take Ferry Road (US Rte. 9). Turn right onto State Rte. 109. Turn right at Garden State Parkway and bear left immediately, following the signs for Ocean Drive, and turn left at the traffic light. Follow Ocean Drive over the toll bridge into Wildwood Crest. Turn right at the traffic light onto Jefferson Avenue. Drive 2 blocks to Atlantic Avenue. turn left onto Atlantic Avenue. The Ala Kai is located on 8301 Atlantic Ave.
From I-95, Delaware Memorial Bridge and Points West:
From the Delaware Memorial Bridge take Rte. 40 to Rte. 55 South to Rte. 47. Take Wildwood Blvd. (Rte.47) over the George Redding Bridge and into Wildwood. Turn right at Atlantic Avenue. Continue on Atlantic Avenue. The Ala Kai is located on 8301 Atlantic Ave.

Wildwood Crest Beach is directly across from the motel. The Wildwoods beaches stretch for about 5 miles across North Wildwood, Wildwood, and Wildwood Crest.

All luggage is to be kept in rooms, no Bikes or large beach carts are allowed in rooms and must be stored on your vehicle
Do you have free parking? Is it free?
Yes, off-street parking is provided at no cost for one car per unit.
Do you have a pool?
Yes, there are two heated pools and a baby pool.
Do you have a hot tub?
No, we do not have a hot tub but we do have two heated pools and a baby pool.
Is there a gym or fitness center?
No, there is not a gym or fitness center onsite.
Do you have free Wi-Fi?
Yes, Wi-Fi is available for free.
Is there air conditioning?
Yes, rooms include air conditioning.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is not included but complimentary coffee is available.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is after 3:00 PM.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is 10:00 AM.
Can I check in early?
Early check-in is not guaranteed, please call us to see if we can accommodate you. There may be an additional fee.

Do you have elevators?
No, there are no elevators on the property.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.
Do you offer cribs or rollaway beds?
Cribs, Rollaway beds, beach buggies, and other items are available from out Rental Partner – Wildwood Rental
Is the property kid-friendly?
Yes, the Ala Kai Motel is family-friendly. We have larger unit types to accommodate families and a baby pool.
Are connecting/adjoining rooms available?
