National Lighthouse Day
Come celebrate the 236th anniversary of the signing of the 1789 Lighthouse Act; also known as National Lighthouse Day! Visit the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse from 9 am to 5 pm, which is free of charge to all guests, to learn more about the most important historic structure on Five Mile Beach. Standing since 1874, this lighthouse is an active navigational aid that the United States Coast Guard maintains.
